    Expected salary range:
    Mid-level: $ 86,000 - $ 106,000

    Primary Purpose of Position

    Responsible for providing technical expertise in support of performing engineering problem solving activities. Possesses a high degree of knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application.

    Primary Duties and Accountabilities
    Prepare nuclear safety analyses and engineering evaluations independently and support Configuration management programs.
    Perform engineering and technical tasks in support of nuclear plant operations.
    Assure all engineering products prepared are in accordance with applicable procedures, safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements.
    Support engineering work functions.

    Participate in the implementation of effective processes and techniques at appropriate levels of detail and in compliance with established programs, policies and procedures.

    Minimum Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in a technical field (non-engineer) and 2 years of nuclear or related industry experience OR
    Associate's degree in a technical field and 3 years of nuclear or related industry experience OR
    High school diploma/GED and a minimum of 5 years of nuclear experience
    Working knowledge of engineering processes and systems required for the specific functional area
    Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
    Must meet additional requirements as outlined in ANSI/ANS Standard, "Selection, Qualification, and Training of Personnel for Nuclear Power Plants"
