    Position: Prep Cook & Cashier

    FLSA Status: Non- Exempt

    Reports To: Executive Chef

    Description:

    Description: Fast casual, deli style booth seeking prep cook with the ability to compose dishes, set up the station and ring the register.

    Experience: At least 1 year of related experience

    Role & Responsibilities:

    •Ring the register

    •Opening & closing duties

    •Interaction with guests

    •Service- setup and execute service.

    •Team Work- work with members of service team including cooks, dishwashers, expediter, and Chefs Skills and Knowledge:

    •Culinary Skills- comprehension of station

    •Operations Skills
    o Command of perishable inventory management
    o Customer service & Hospitality Oriented

    •Culinary Knowledge- basic knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes Fundamental Requirements:

    •Communication- must be able to communicate efficiently and effectively to all team members.

    •Reading/Writing- ability to speak, read and write in English.

    •Math- ability to calculate basic math problem (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)

    •Kitchen Equipment- ability to operate kitchen equipment, stoves, grills, fryer, dishwasher

    •Physical Demands- ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting, ability to lift up to 50lbs, ability to work in a high temperature environment
