    Position Responsibilities:

    Seeking a Business Analyst who is experienced with business requirements in the Treasury System within a client bank. The ideal candidate will have a background in financial services, and a thorough understanding of banking operations, specifically in the treasury function. This role will require working closely with the treasury department, IT department, and Tokyo Head Office IT development team.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    Responsible for establishing and running the business side activities for system function enhancement.

    • Guide related business department members for the function definition, test support, communication with Tokyo Head Office to implement, enhance, and support of the treasury system, ensuring optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Act as the point of contact for treasury system-related inquiries, issues, and solutions.
    • Develop and maintain business requirement documents with business department members.
    • Generate regular reports on user-side project performance, risks, and issues for senior management.
    • Define and promote business-side member tasks
    • Communicate with the Tokyo Head office system development team

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Excellent understanding of the banking industry

    Working knowledge and experience in financial services in one or more of the following domain areas is preferred;

      • Loan / Guarantee / Fund finance especially Syndicated Loan Specialist
      • Transaction Banking / Local Remittance/ Trade Finance
      • Settlement / ISO /Payment
      • Asset Management
    • Strong knowledge of banking operations and regulations.
    • Proven experience (6+ years) in a PMO role, preferably within a financial institution.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Proven ability to manage a diverse team and drive successful project outcomes.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
    • Experience with system implementation.
    • Proficiency in treasury system platforms and tools.
    • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and proactive mindset for issue solving.

    Must hold U.S. Work Permiss

    • Bilingual in Japanese preferred

    Must be willing to travel to a client location
