Description
We are looking for a Director of Finance to join our client's team immediately. This is supporting a federal contracting company.This person will be responsible for the following:
Utilizing Deltek Costpoint, manages full scope accounting practices for the company; responsible for management of accounting schedule; manages DCAA audits, incurred cost submissions, and yearly CPA Financial Statement audit.
Applies advanced accounting skills to perform routine and non-routine tasks involving the processing and reconciliation of receivables, billing, payroll, accounts payable, contract revenue calculations, indirect rate calculations, fixed assets, general ledger, preparing financial statements, and supporting compliance audits.
Assist in establishing the yearly budgets and forecasts for direct and indirect costsConducts research & analysis; billed and unbilled receivable analysis and revenue recognition
Monitors cash flow, LOC, and bank monthly reports to meet covenants
Oversee project and employee setups in Costpoint
Leads the monthly closing procedures, including preliminary analysis of financial results and preparation of month end financial reporting package
Full Year End close processes utilizing the Costpoint yearly close process
Must ensure compliance with company, GAAP, FAR procedures and standards

Required Skills & Experience
