    What is the job about?

    As our new Quality Manager, you will become a part of a global team, consisting of 7 people with reporting line directly to our Quality Director and have a role as a lead individual contributor. Your main stakeholders and business partners will be manufacturing plants, sales, service, solution & marketing and of course externally to our customers. To be leading the way towards successful deliveries in the Industry Division, you will also have close connection to the other divisions and cross function teams within our quality organization.

    In this role, your main responsibilities will be to represent and support our Industry Division in the Americas Region from a quality perspective. You will be responsible for ensuring that operational, tactical, and strategical tasks and initiatives related to customer quality are managed. Furthermore, you will lead cross functional activities in the Industry Americas Region related to customer Quality initiatives involving the plants including non-conformities.

    This position will work remotely anywhere in the USA but preferably out of our Fresno, CA or Brookshire, TX offices.

    Your main responsibilities:

  • Manage customer relations to ensure product quality with both reactive and proactive initiatives.
  • Ensure customer complaints being handled in a fast and professional way to protect customers.
  • Participate and drive Key Customer meetings supporting Sales in driving the quality agenda (presentation of Customer specific Quality figures and status on Quality actions).
  • Monitor monthly Customer KPI ́s including 8D performance per area.
  • Support the development and implementation of S1403: Reporting & consolidation, Data analysis.
  • Represent the Customers when a major Quality issue is handled.
  • Oversee Industry Americas quality governance. Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement efforts in manufacturing plants and local assemblies.
  • Your background

    As the responsible for customer relations in relation to quality, you communicate and drive plans with your great interpersonal skills combined with your personal impact. You have a solid ability to identify, influence and manage stakeholders and are not intimidated by challenging internal and external customer groups. Moreover, you have a proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate problems and questions.

    Further, we imagine that you have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of Professional experience in a similar role.
  • Process management (Including knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO15504).
  • Technical background in a similar industry.
  • Excellent stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of audit-at least skilled level.
  • Cultural understanding, networking, and efficient communication
  • Project management experience.
  • Travelling is required (50%), frequent visits to Customers, Plants, Assembly sites and DC ́s in region.
  • Please note that relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have the authorization to work in the USA without support.

    The pay range for this position for candidates in California is $107,326 to $150,483. Actual pay will depend upon skill set, experience, and location.

    Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Fresno, CA. The pay range for Brookshire, TX may be different.
