The Senior Director, System Respiratory Care and Sleep Medicine provides strategic leadership accountable for overseeing the operational and clinical aspects of respiratory care and sleep medicine services across Guthrie. The Senior Director will report to the SVP, President of PA Regional Hospitals and matrixed to the EVP, COO of The Guthrie Clinic.

Guthrie is a non-profit integrated health system located in north central Pennsylvania and upstate New York, serving patients from a twelve-county service area. Guthrie is comprised of a research institute, home care/hospice, hospitals in Sayre, PA, Corning, NY, Towanda, PA, Troy, PA, and Cortland, NY, as well as a multi-specialty group practice of nearly 700 providers offering 47 specialties through a regional office network providing primary and specialty care in 22 communities in Pennsylvania and New York. Guthrie is dedicated to training the next generation of health care leaders, offering seven residencies and three fellowships. Guthrie provides a full spectrum of services and programs to enhance the health and well-being of those it serves including primary care, complex specialty care, behavioral health services, surgical services, inpatient care, durable medical equipment services, home health, long-term care, palliative care, and hospice care.

The Senior Director, System Respiratory Care and Sleep Medicine is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans, virtual respiratory programs, innovative care models for respiratory care and sleep medicine, ensuring high-quality patient care, managing resources effectively, and fostering collaboration across departments and system-wide initiatives. This role collaborates closely with the executive leadership of The Guthrie Clinic, through matrixed reporting, to ensure alignment of respiratory care and sleep medicine services with system-wide objectives and standards. The Senior Director will lead a multidisciplinary team, drive continuous improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a culture of excellence and innovation in respiratory care and sleep medicine.

The Ideal Candidate for this role will be a strong clinical services leader with management experience in respiratory care and sleep medicine. The candidate needs a minimum of seven to ten yearsof progressive leadership experience in overseeing respiratory care, sleep medicine or related clinical services for a hospital or large ambulatory setting. Registered Respiratory Therapy credentials or equivalent, master's degree are preferred.
