The Night Auditor (NA) is responsible for accurately balancing all hotel income and expenses for every 24 hour hotel operating period. The NA also acts as a Guest Service Agent for the overnight front desk shift at the hotel.Responsibilities
- BALANCE AND AUDIT ROOM REVENUE FOOD AND BEVERAGE REVENUE Telephone revenue FOR ACCURACY ASSIST IN THE PREPARATION OF ALL REPORTS RELEVANT TO DAILY REVENSE BALANCE AND AUDIT ALL ROOM TAX CHARGES CASHIER REPORTS GUEST HOUSE ACCOUNTS FOR ACCURACY COMPLETE TRANSMIT DAILY MANAGEMENTACCOUNTING REPORTS WITH ANY SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION ENSURING THE ACCURATE ACCOUNTING OF THE HOTEL REVENSE AND EXPENSES PREPARE GENERAL MANAGER DAILY WEEKLY MONTH END REPORTING PACKS ASSIST IN THE SET UP COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST SERVICE TO INCLUDE HOT FOOD SERVICE JUICE COFFEE STATIONS SUPPLIES ACT AS SECURITY POINT CONTACT VARIOUS TIMES SHIFT COMMUNICATE OPERATIONS MANAGER TO RESOLVE ACCOUNTING DISCREPANCY REQUEST PROVIDE INFORMATION REGISTER GUEST ISSUE ROOM KEYS PROVIDE INFORMATION ON HOTEL SERVICES ROOM LOCATION TRAVEL PASS REWARDS PROGRAM ANWER PHONES PROMPT COURTEOUS MANNER PROCESS ALL CASH CREDIT CARD TRANSACTION IN ACCORDANCE ESTABLISHED PROCEDURE POSTIUNG ALL CHARGES COMPLETING CASHIER OTHER REPORTS PREPARING DEPOSIT COUNT SECURE ASSIGNED BANK MAY ROUTINELY BOOK GUEST RESERVATIONS INDIVIDUAL GROUP REQUESTED EITHER BY PHONE FROM WITHIN HOTELS PROCESS CANCELATIONS REVSION INFORMATION UPDATES CHANGES FOLLOW OVERALL SEASONAL DEMAND Reservation STRATEGY COMMUNICATED BY Hotel Management Team REGARD Room Type Length Stay Pricing PROMOTE TEAMWORK QUALITY SERVICE THROUGH DAILY COMMUNICATION COORDINATION OTHER SHIFTS DEPARTMENT MANAGEMENT SERVE SHOPPE POUR ENSURING GUEST RECEIVE SERVICE PRODUCTS OFFERED BY HOTEL FOLLOWS LOCAL LAWS REGARD ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE SALES ENSSURE SPECIAL REQUEST ARE FULFILLED PROPER DELIVERY Of guest services delivered ISSUE CONTROL RELEASE GUEST SAFE DEPOSIT BOX COMPPLY FEDERAL STATE LOCAL LAWS REGAR Health Safety Alcohol Services PERFORM OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES ASASSIGNED
