Job Description

As a new member of our engineering team, you will be instrumental in building tools and infrastructure that accelerate our development and deployment speed and improve the efficiency of our AI assistant - moving us from R&D to full-scale production. You are an intellectually curious DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience building Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Your experience with Kubernetes and enterprise-level product deployment will directly impact our success. You are comfortable working with some level of ambiguity and willing to jump in wherever you can to help the team solve unstructured problems. Here's some of what needs to be done:

• Building the foundational infrastructure that will accelerate our move from R&D to product deployment solving challenging unstructured problems using sound DevOps methods with a focus on performance and security
• Automating development and release processes, including testing and examining code written by others
• Identifying technical problems, developing software updates, and ensuring that all systems are defensible
• Stretching yourself intellectually - challenging conventional thinking with a focus on where the industry is headed
• Pitching in wherever you can to support the team

Qualifications

And what it'll take to get it done:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering and at least 5 years of DevOps experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Proven experience with Kubernetes including containerization, security and documentation in a commercial product deployment environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of Docker and enterprise-grade cloud architecture
• A robust toolbelt that includes a combination of Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Maven or Ant, Docker, Shell Scripts to automate starting services on various servers, Nexus Repository, and TestProject is required
• Experience working with CI/CD implementation within a Microservices architecture
• Ability to work through complex problems and guide us through change - justifying and defending decisions with respect
• Comfortable operating in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software against an aggressive schedule

Additional Information

Our team enjoys:

• Base salary $120,000 - $155,000 depending on experience plus an impressive suite of benefits
