    Responsibilities:

    • Operate a backhoe efficiently and safely to excavate trenches, dig holes, and perform other necessary tasks as required.
    • Fill holes and trenches with concrete or other suitable materials, ensuring proper compaction and leveling.
    • Safely climb utility poles and perform various tasks such as installing, maintaining, and repairing overhead lines and equipment.
    • Operate a bucket truck to access elevated work areas, such as utility poles or equipment.
    • Conduct inspections and routine maintenance on utility equipment and infrastructure.
    • Respond to service calls and troubleshoot issues promptly, ensuring timely resolution.
    • Collaborate with the team to coordinate and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
    • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times, ensuring a secure working environment.
    • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including documentation of materials used, time spent, and completed tasks.
    • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving concerns, and communicating professionally.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or vocational training preferred.
    • Proven experience operating a backhoe, demonstrating proficiency in excavation and trenching.
    • Proficiency in filling holes with concrete or other materials, ensuring proper compaction and leveling.
    • Ability to safely climb utility poles and work at elevated heights.
    • Experience driving a bucket truck or similar aerial lift equipment.
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and customers.
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
    • Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy equipment, bending, stooping, and working in various weather conditions.
