Job summary
Safe and efficient operation of brand new Wild Goose 2-head canning line and all ancillary equipment ensure proper handling of beer from tanks to packaged cans and kegs record CO2 levels prior to canning runs properly carbonate Brite Tanks and record all levels prior to canning set up and tear down all equipment post-run monitor and record seaming specs maintain proper specs and SOP perform preventative maintenance for packaging equipment manage packaging materials inventory communicate when orders should be placed timely communication when spare parts misc supplies are needed effectively communicate work directly with Head Brewer production team for timely packaging of beer into kegs cans ensure no bottlenecks create repeatable SOP for operating of all packaging equipment inspect quality of packaged product assure it is fit for distribution accurate timely record keeping including but not limited to QC specs finished goods counts low fill counts QC inventory materials waste apply design thinking implement efficient ways package product operate canning line keep packaging area clean organized clean kegs organize for packaging transfer beer from fermenters brite tanks working confined spaces lifting repeatedly moving pounds climbing ladders repeatedly working dangerous chemicals following Standard Operating Procedures Policies operating fork lifts pallet jacks hand trucks assisting Head Brewer potential projects tasks.
