    This position is responsible for the advertising and public relations of the firm, to include review of all marketing campaigns, creation of annual budget, review of monthly expenses, creation and analysis of marketing reports, and systems of approval designed to ensure all marketing campaigns comply with brand and ethical standards.

    Key Details:

    • MUST have Personal Injury law firm marketing experience
    • On-site in Richmond, VA
    • $105,000 - $140,000

    Summary:

    • Maintain a system of controls over advertisements and public relations campaigns
    • Review all ads and public relation campaigns and make sure they are reviewed by appropriate committees
    • Prepare and review weekly marketing reports
    • Distribute marketing reports to Board of Directors, Directors and vendors
    • Forecast cases and calls for each market
    • Make adjustments to media buys and campaigns as needed
    • Work with creative agencies to ensure ads are up to brand standards and active ads are meeting campaign goals
    • Oversee the marketing coordinator's work
    • Collaborate with vendors and in-house committees on campaigns
    • Ensure marketing invoices are accurate and paid

    Core Functions:

    Management

    • Develop and maintain annual marketing and public relations strategy
    • Oversee the operations of the marketing department, including review and analysis of all advertisements
    • Review all media buys to ensure clearance and accurate billing
    • Provide monthly status updates and review campaigns with TV and digital agencies to ensure results comply with the Firm's goals
    • Ensure all invoices are accurate and paid
    • Assist lawyers and staff with development of individual marketing campaigns

    Reporting

    • Issue timely and complete marketing reports
    • Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of marketing campaigns
    • Work with Firm Administrator on the production of the annual budget
    • Report significant case and call issues to senior management
    • Provide marketing analysis as needed and review with senior management

    Compliance

    • Review all advertisements and public relation campaigns to make sure they comply with Virginia State Bar's Rules of Professional Conduct
    • Coordinate with appropriate committees to approve all campaigns

    Additional Functions:

    • Work with Firm Directors to ensure they are aware of all marketing campaigns and the effect on their department
    • Perform special projects and initiatives as approved by the Board of Directors
    • Keep up-to-date with changes and the newest trends in legal marketing through trade publications and seminars
