    Title:
    Antenna Engineer

    Duration: 1 year with possible extension

    Location:
    Onsite Sunnyvale, CA

    Benefits:

    Hours:
    Minimum 40 Hours/Week


    Role:

    • Responsible for antenna design, implementation, and verification throughout a product design cycle.
    • Responsible for antenna matching circuit design, antenna passive and active performance by computer simulation, and lab validation.
    • Perform boardlevel and productlevel EM simulations for bestinclass radio performance, spatial coexistence, and emissions.
    • Work with internal crossfunctional team and external JDM/CM to successfully bring wireless products to market.
    • Support EMI/EMC troubleshooting and product certification.
    • Support domestic/international travel to achieve program milestones.
    • Strong communicator.

    Skills:

    • Experience with RF lab equipment for RF device and antenna characterization as well as system performance validation, such as SAR, TRP, and TIS.
    • Experience in EM simulation software, such as CST, and HFSS.
    • Experience with antenna/wireless system architecture and multiradio coexistence mechanism.
    • Handson with antenna tuning and measurement with VNA and anechoic chamber system.

    Preferred Skills:

    • MS or PhD in Antenna/RF/Electromagnetics.
    • 5+ years' experience in antenna design for consumer electronics.
    • Experience with Cellular, GNSS, WiFi/BT, and other wireless technologies.
    • Familiar with regulatory requirements (FCC, CE, etc.).
    - mmWave phased array design experience.

    • Tunable antenna experience.
    • Coding skills for data analysis and test equipment automation.

    Education: BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.

    FRESH Work on engineering and research assignments with F500 companies and startups.

    Compensation offered will be determined by location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Range $65/hr - $75/hr.
