- Offer strategic insight into security architecture aligned with the agency's IT objectives and technological strategies.
- Provide counsel to the COR or CISO/DCISO regarding agency enterprise cybersecurity strategy.
- Engage in IT meetings as requested by the COR or CISO/DCISO.
- Advise on ensuring compliance with security requirements for new IT capabilities.
- Recommend industry-leading IT security capabilities to the agency COR/CISO.
- Consult with COR/CISO/DCISO and DCIOs on security implementation strategies and architectural solutions for new software development projects initiated by agency teams.
- Guide a smooth transition to the NIST RMF v2 framework.
- Customize system-specific controls according to NIST800-53 v5 control baselines and agency business needs.
- Promote the adoption of common controls to ensure standardized security and privacy control inheritance.
- Develop and execute a system-level strategy for monitoring control effectiveness in alignment with the agency's continuous monitoring strategy.
- BS and 8+ years of FISMA and auditing related experience required; Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study preferred. Bachelor's degree can be substituted with 4 years of additional experience.

This position is contingent upon contract award.
Security Requirements
Must be able to obtain or retain a Public Trust or higher clearance,
with a requirement for U.S. citizenship . The investigation will involve a credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency check.
Qualifications
CISSP; CISA; Certified Information Security Manager (CISM); or FITSP-A is required.
The position includes competitive compensation and a full suite of benefits:
Salary Range:
$120,000-140,000 commensurate with experience
