    Acara Solutions is hiring a Division Manager for our client in Charlotte, NC. This is a full-time position and relocation assistance can be provided.

    • Production Oversight: Lead and manage the entire production process, ensuring that all projects are executed in accordance with design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
    • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of woodworkers, craftsmen, and production staff to ensure seamless collaboration, skill development, and adherence to best practices in woodworking techniques.
    • Project Coordination: Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, architects, and clients to understand project requirements, provide technical input, and ensure that production plans align with design intent.
    • Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively, including raw materials, equipment, and manpower, to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste.
    • Quality Control: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship and attention to detail in all architectural woodwork products.
    • Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to enhance production processes, streamline workflows, and implement innovative techniques that improve efficiency without compromising quality.
    • Health and Safety: Ensure that all production activities adhere to health and safety regulations and best practices, creating a safe and productive work environment for all team members.
    • Vendor and Supplier Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and negotiating favorable terms to support production needs.

    Division Manager Qualifications

    • Proven experience (5+ years) in architectural woodwork production, with a deep understanding of woodworking techniques, materials, and finishes.
    • Knowledge and understanding of custom woodworking and/or windowmaking.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
    • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
    • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and other relevant production tools.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
    • Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to overcoming production challenges.
    • Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and evolving technologies in architectural woodworking.
    • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
    • Financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost optimization.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • In-depth understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
