- This is an entry level position for individuals who have less than 1 year of pharmacy experience or equivalent but are motivated to learn new skills and excited to provide exceptional care to our patients.
- This position offers training and advancement opportunities in customer service, medication and medical terminology, prescription data entry, prescription preparation and sales, inventory management and call center support.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
- This position is intended for individuals with experience working in a retail pharmacy or equivalent healthcare setting.
- Once confident in NLP specific operations, Pharm Tech II's act as mentors to new staff and support pharmacy leadership with the implementation of training, new processes, and customer service initiatives.
- 1+ year of pharmacy experience or equivalent required.
- National Pharmacy Tech Certification required
- Licensed to administer vaccines preferred
- This position is intended for experienced pharmacy technicians who have demonstrated the ability to lead others through training, project/process implementation, collaboration, supporting a positive culture, and adhere to attendance and code of conduct policies and procedures.
- Qualified candidates should have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- National Pharmacy Tech Certification required
- Licensed to administer vaccines (or ability/willingness to gain licensure) required
- 5+ years working as a pharmacy technician in a community pharmacy preferred
- Associates Degree preferred

Summary:
Assist pharmacists in medication preparation and distribution while ensuring a high degree of quality and accuracy during daily tasks. Pharmacy Technicians coordinate with co-workers and other staff members, including RNs, CNAs, Pharmacists, etc. to ensure correct and timely filling and distribution of patient medication orders. Pharmacy Technicians are responsible for preparing and manufacturing medications, as prescribed following established protocols and procedures. Technicians also participate in the creation and management of medication histories in the electronic health records.
