    Description

    Take charge of resolving intricate system issues alongside our development and support teams. As a Server Administrator, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring seamless operations for our systems while driving innovation and efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Spearheading system issue resolution efforts in collaboration with development and support teams.
    • Utilizing Mobile Device Management (MDM) software to enforce policies and secure smartphones, tablets, and other endpoints.
    • Implementing auto scripting and providing remote support for streamlined operations.
    • Leveraging Jenkins, an open-source automation server, to facilitate reliable software builds, tests, and deployments.
    • Crafting and maintaining PowerShell automation scripts to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Managing Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for system configuration compliance.
    • Proactively identifying and addressing system issues affecting business operations.
    • Leading or participating in critical system impact triage and resolution processes.
    • Coordinating software deployments for Point of Sale systems and overseeing store software pilots.
    • Delivering operational insights on store technology to IT groups.
    • Analyzing systems and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Providing support teams with comprehensive support procedures and techniques training.
    • Collaborating with project teams to transition new solutions or technologies smoothly into operations.
    • Offering technical support and operations training to team members.
    • Documenting support standards and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.

    Job Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Operations or Systems Administration.
    • Proficiency in managing Microsoft and Linux infrastructures, preferably at an enterprise level.
    • Experience with software deployment and configuration management tools.
    • Expertise in system monitoring and analysis using Splunk or similar log analyzers.
    • Strong proficiency in Windows triage and support.
    • Sound understanding of IP networking and VLANs.
    • Extensive experience with PowerShell, DSC, or other Infrastructure as Code frameworks.
    • Familiarity with virtualization platforms and containerized workloads such as Hyper-V, VMWare ESXi/Vcenter, Docker, and containers.
    • Experience in managing and supporting ChromeOS and Google Workspace.
    • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
    • Familiarity with Linux distributions including RedHat, SUSE, and Ubuntu.
    • Understanding of process development and process improvement methodologies like Lean Six Sigma.
