The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Boston Medical Center/Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician to join our dynamic division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
The Boston Medical Center Pediatric Emergency Department cares for 25,000 patients per year. Currently, there are 12 Emergency Medicine faculty members and 3 fellows. Our pediatric emergency medicine fellowship has been in existence since 1988. We are responsible for resident education of our core residency programs in Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, and Family Medicine. Many trainees gain clinical experience through their rotation in the Pediatric Emergency Department, including medical students, residents, and fellows. We are the largestsafety net hospital in New England.
BMC is home to a number of innovative programs that identify and address unmet needs in social determinants of health, including violence prevention, substance use disorders, family planning, and food and housing security.
Required SkillsFaculty receive an appointment with Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and are encouraged and supported to pursue work in education, administration, and research.
