    Overview:

    The Process Engineer II performs a variety of activities in support of radiation hardened Integrated Circuit (IC) manufacturing operations including environmental screening, machine programming, process development, and process improvement.

    Responsibilities:
    • Resolving daily challenges in environmental screening area to keep product moving.
    • Responsible for the development, maintenance, improvement, and optimization of robust, repeatable, and cost-effective manufacturing processes.
    • Responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the products via effective processes for environmental testing.
    • Routinely provides engineering expertise on assigned processes or projects with coaching to team Engineers.
    • Resolves processing issues, leads product analysis, and root cause investigations. (MRB)
    • Maintenance of documentation including specifications, procedures, forms, and training material. (ECO and DCO)
    • Uses solid engineering methodologies and a data-driven approach to problem resolution.
    • Investigates and recommends equipment purchases, upgrades, or replacements as needed.
    • Participates on product development and continuous improvement teams.
    • Works with customers and vendors as needed to answer questions or resolve process related issues.
    • Effectively schedules workload to meet development, project and/or product due dates.
    • Works as directed by management to support the business.
    Qualifications:

    Minimum:

    • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
    • 2+ years of related process experience.
    • Engineering skills including statistical process control (SPC), design of experiments (DOE), data collection, data analysis, report development.
    • Working knowledge of MIL-PRF-38535 and AS9100.
    • Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
    • Strong data analysis skills using statistical tools including JMP, and others.
    • Communicates effectively with peers, customers, and management in verbal, written, and presentation form.
    • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.

    Preferred:

    • Packaged IC semiconductor environmental screening experience preferred.
    • Experience with the following processes a plus:
      • AOI, Ink Marking Systems, Ink Stripping, PIND test, Centrifuge, Temp Cycling and Curing.
    • Proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office products - Excel, Word, Visio, Power Point, Project.
    • Use of CAD tools and Mechanical and/or Modeling software may also be required for certain job functions.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.

    Salary Range: $70,752 - $88,440 annually.

    Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate
