    Position Overview: We are looking for a talented Process Engineer with expertise in prototype parts and manufacturing execution systems (MES) to support our development and production processes. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring quality standards, and enhancing efficiency throughout the production lifecycle.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Prototype Parts Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and production to develop and optimize prototype parts for automotive applications.
    2. Manufacturing Process Optimization: Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
    3. Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES): Implement and maintain MES solutions to streamline production processes, track manufacturing metrics, and ensure adherence to production schedules.
    4. Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that prototype parts meet rigorous quality standards and regulatory requirements.
    5. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
    6. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to production schedules and ensure on-time delivery of prototype parts.
    7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing processes, performance metrics, and quality control procedures. Generate regular reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for decision-making.
    8. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, procurement, and production to support prototype parts development and manufacturing processes.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
    • Minimum of X years of experience in automotive manufacturing, with a focus on prototype parts development and manufacturing execution systems.
    • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, CATIA) and manufacturing software (e.g., MES, ERP systems).
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze complex manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
    • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Knowledge of automotive quality standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
