Cohen & Gresser ("C&G") seeks an experienced brand and digital marketing professional to join our BD & Marketing ("BDM") Department. This position will own, develop, streamline, maintain, and execute on our digital marketing operations. We are a fast-growing, elite law firm in the midst of transforming our business development efforts and are looking for a career-minded, experienced digital marketing professional with a passion to collaborate and help build the next phase of our go-to-market vision. This will be responsible for working in conjunction with our full BDM team to take practice group messaging and marketing campaigns and amplify them across our digital channels which include our website, digital paid advertising, social media footprint, and other digital activities. This position will report to the firm's CMBDO and interact with all members of the firm's BDM team as well as the firm's attorneys, outside vendors and resources.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Coordinate all marketing and advertising activities including print, PR, and events to ensure full integration and distribution of campaigns across all digital channels
- Develop and evolve the right brand messages for the digital environment to drive awareness in the marketplace
- Actively manage our social media channels, in partnership with our practice leaders, to grow our organic reach and relevant followership
- Manage our website and its ongoing SEO and development efforts, in collaboration
- Develop creative ideas for engaging with potential prospects and increasing our ongoing touchpoints and engagement
- Perform client segmentation, channel analysis, and targeting for key customer categories
- Perform competitor research to develop messaging and strategies to position Cohen & Gresser against their competitors
- Serve as an advisor to our partners and marketing leaders on how to best incorporate digital concepts into their campaigns and outreach efforts
- Build, test, and deploy email/social campaigns
- Establish and analyze campaigns and metrics across email campaigns and other digital channels and evaluate what is working, what should change, etc.
- Identify digital trends that drive insight into our paid and organic marketing efforts
- Evaluate other digital channels and emerging technologies and create business cases and recommendations on projects you believe will create significant benefit to the firm
- Develop regular reporting on our digital marketing KPIs to communicate with marketing and firm leadership on the status
- Coordinate with IT on the tools and technologies required to execute Marketing activities
- Ad hoc projects as appropriate and required
Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- 6+ years experience in digital marketing roles (professional services experience a plus)
- Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree from a 4-year accredited college or university
- Excellent project management skills and organizational ability
- CRM experience (MS Dynamics a plus)
- Experience in branding, digital content development, digital marketing and advertising strategy and execution
- Expert in Google Analytics, LinkedIn preferred (other social channels a plus)
- CMS system knowledge a plus
- Outstanding data analysis skills
- Strong copywriting skills
- Experience with HubSpot a plus
- High competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

- Intellectually curious self-starter
- Outstanding client service orientation and listening skills
- Ability to work independently without direct guidance on recurring assigned tasks
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects with little direction
- Strong work ethic and able to work against deadlines
- Comfortable and confident in interacting with firm leadership and attorneys
- Able to represent the department and the firm in a professional and positive manner
This position is based in our New York office with a current hybrid schedule of 3 days in-office, 2 days working remotely. This is an exempt position with an expected salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 depending on experience.
