- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of experience in computer systems analysis and/or computer programming; or,
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in one (1) of the computer sciences or in management information systems and two (2) years of experienced as described above; or,
- A master's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the computer sciences or in management information systems and one (1) year of experienced as described above; or,
- A doctorate from an accredited college or university in one of the computer sciences or in management information systems; or,
- Four (4) years of experience as described above and either (1) completion of a 1440 classroom hour program of study from a vocational/technical school or accredited community college in an area of data processing (excluding data entry), or semester or 90 quarter hours of college course work from an accredited institution which includes four courses in computer science or management information systems.
- Experience as described above can substitute one (1) year for year basis for the required college education.
- Completion of a one (1) year program of study from a vocational/technical school in an area of data processing (excluding data entry) can substitute for one year of the required experience.
- This position performs technical work involving the analysis, development, design and implementation of comprehensive management information systems and/or integrated subsystems.
- Consults with users in defining systems requirements and specifications for financial, budgetary, and office automation systems.
- Designs, writes, tests, debugs, and documents new computer systems to automate departmental financial and budgetary functions.
- Maintains and enhances existing departmental financial and budgetary systems.
- Consults with users to define needed integration of internal systems with external systems used by the department.
- Develops strategies to create improved systems communication to improve efficiencies and productivity and improve data integrity.
- Communicates and confers with the Department of Financial Services on issues related to the functional implementation of the FLAIR and CMS Replacements (Aspire) as they relate to the Department of Legal Affairs.

Our Organization and Mission: The Office represents the State of Florida in state and federal civil and criminal courts, from trial courts to the Supreme Court of the United States.
Position Summary: This position is in the Office of Attorney General in the Information Technology Unit in Tallahassee, Florida.
Pay: $48,000 to $58,000 Annually
Qualifications:
Preference will be given to those with experience with HCL Notes support and OnBase support.
