    We are currently partnering with one of Washington, DC's most renowned real estate companies. This organization has been in business for over 70 years and is known for its strong reputation, stability, and highly tenured team.     The company's Finance Department is approximately 65 employees strong and is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their Accounts Payable team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Process accounts payable transactions in a fast-paced environment
    • Work within the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) system
    • Send daily AP-related emails to vendors
    • Provide monthly Excel backup and reporting support as needed
    • Prepare and post journal entries and receipts
    • Process in-house expense reports, including mileage reimbursements
    • Process back charges as required
    • Assist the Accounts Payable team as needed
    • Handle sales and use tax processing
    • Prepare quarterly reconciliations for A/P and A/R exchanges

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 2+ years of accounts payable experience
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Excellent computer skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
    • College degree preferred but not required
