The Field Safety Specialist promotes and maintains a safe, compliant, and accident-free work environment.Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain comprehensive safety and health programs
- Lead daily safety meetings and participate in job safety briefings
- Conduct field audits, jobsite inspections, and ride-along driver evaluations
- Investigate safety incidents; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions/li>Evaluate the effectiveness of current training programs; recommend changes as necessary/li>Maintain accurate records of all incident investigations; provide data for analysis to improve overall company performance/li>Determine root cause of each incident; develop recommendations to prevent re-occurrence/
- Serve as liaison between operations management team members regarding any issues related to worksite safety/health/
- Audit facilities for unsafe behaviors/conditions/exposure risks;/span>/ strong/Audit active jobsites for proper implementation of safety procedures.// strong/Audit vehicles/trailers/equipment used on site to ensure compliance with safety regulations./
