    Description

    Sutter Health is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for a full-time position at PAMF-Palo Alto Medical Foundation PAD in California. The selected candidate will perform routine and specialized sonography procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Graduation from an accredited formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
    • ARDMS-American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Upon Hire
    • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Upon Hire
    • Two or three certifications, including but not limited to Abdomen, Breast, Fetal Echocardiography, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatric Sonography, and Registered Vascular Technician

    Preferred Experience:

    • 2-5 years clinical and practical experience
    • Intermediate knowledge of diagnostic sonography principles, procedures, views, and equipment
    • Well-developed time management and organizational skills

    The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
