Job DetailsJob LocationSaint LouisThe Banquet Prep & Line Cook, under general supervision, will perform various food preparation, cooking, and cleaning tasks to ensure the kitchen remains efficient in creating and delivering dishes to patrons.
Responsibilities:
Follow the daily prep list create by the Kitchen ManagerSetup workstations and ensure all ingredients are stocked for service Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessibleMeasure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cookingPrepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc.
Follow recipes and production and portion standardsUndertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food etc.
Maintain a safe, clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc.
Ensure all food and other items are prepared and stored properly and adhere to HACCP guidelines to ensure safe and sanitary food productionPerform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Kitchen ManagerRequired knowledge, skills, and abilities:
