- Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders or related field
- Completion of an approved SLPA program recognized by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board of California
- Valid California state licensure or eligibility for SLPA licensure
- Prior experience working with individuals facing speech and language disorders is beneficial
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capability to work under the guidance of a licensed SLP
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
