    Unit Manager

    Trott Law, P.C. is looking for a qualified applicant for a full-time Unit Manager position. The ideal candidate will have strong management skills/experience, be supportive of Firm goals and processes with a positive attitude.

    Additionally, the candidate will need to understand the ability to think strategically to implement Firm goals, teach detail intensive processes, and reengineer workflow.5+ years in a mortgage related industry is preferred.

    Qualifications

    Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
    Professional verbal and written business communication skills are essential.
    General computer skills, such as knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and general office skills.
    Must possess excellent personal communications and relationship skills.
    Ability to train new employees and explain processes to new and existing employees.
    Requires excellent analytical skills.
    Requires strong leadership skills.
    Requires the ability to work with other units in a collaborative manner.
    Knowledge of GSE and Government regulations


    Duties:
    Manage Supervisors and Staff and the day-to-day processes of the unit.
    Ensure timely and accurate completion of any and all processes.
    Effectively structure and utilize staffing to assure efficient use of resources.
    Working with managers and colleagues to evaluate systems, process design, and compliance with investor requirements.
    Work with the Attorney group as needed to ensure that any and all decisions and processes
    are legally appropriate.
    Inform executive management of Unit activities, results, needs, plans, and challenges.

    Serve as the primary elevation/review point for client, county, staff, vendors and public contact issues and problems involving the activity of any files assigned to the Unit.

    Serve as a member of the management team working on overall processes and problems impacting the
    firm.
    Develop and maintain department reports.
    Respond to client scorecards, audit requests, and attend client in house audits and calls.
    Ensure compliance with all Client and Investor Directives directly impacting the Unit
    Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
    Conduct regular meetings with the department supervisors and staff.
