    Job Description:

    The primary responsibility of this position carries out packaging line, manufacturing inspections and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials to ensure that company standards are met.

    QualificationsMinimum high school diploma or related experience
    Ability to read and write in English
    Strong organizational skills
    Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and problem resolution skills a must. Ability to facilitate activities and corresponding results without direct control of personnel and/or process
    Detail focused
    Team Player
    Ability to manage multiple priorities.
    Strong basic math skills
    Experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance (i.e., quality control tests, quality control specifications, etc.) preferred
    Strong technical knowledge, with manufacturing experience in a flexible packaging operation preferred
    Physical capabilities to sample large bags of raw materials

    ResponsibilitiesInspects and approves labels, boxes, code dates and packaging materials.
    Sampling of raw materials within protected environment
    Approves and releases product process including equipment and materials
    Places non-conforming materials and products on hold
    Performs Quality control checks
    Data entry in compliance with GMP/GDP standards

    SPECIAL EQUIPMENT/WORKING CONDITIONSExposure to high noise levels.
    Personal Protective Equipment, including wearing respirator, required.
    Ability to stand for extended periods of time
    Ability to lift 50 pounds on occasion
    Full range of motion (reach above head, bend at waist, etc.)
    Hand/Eye Coordination and Dexterity
    Able to climb stairs
