    SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION:
    ANSER is seeking a Senior Acquisition Analyst to support the Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment (IBAS) program within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy (IBP)
    The IBAS program is dedicated to ensuring that the Department of Defense is positioned to effectively address industrial base issues and support the National Security Innovation Base
    The analyst will be part of a high-powered team that researches and analyzes strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities within the global defense industrial base; recommends relevant prototyping efforts; crafts relevant acquisition documents; evaluates proposed efforts; monitors program execution; conducts outreach efforts; and conducts site visits and strategic communications operations as required
    This position is to work onsite at ANSER headquarters in Falls Church/Arlington, VA and/or remotely
    Occasional work will be required at the client's location at the Mark Center in Alexandria,

    VA

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    The following skills and experience are required for this position:


    • Must have minimum of a SECRET clearance
    • Demonstrated ability to establish, oversee, manage, and/or lead acquisition and contracting activities
    • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and lead projects and to monitor the projects cost, schedule, and performance
    • Demonstrated knowledge of the DoD acquisition process and PPBE
    • Understanding of federal acquisition management, particularly with non-FAR based contracts such as Other Transaction Authority
    • Intellectual flexibility, stability and strong oral and written communications capabilities
    • Ability to work well in a team setting and provide guidance to junior/mid-level analysts
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Prior experience and/or knowledge in establishing, managing, and/or leading rapid acquisition activities
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent EDUCATION & YEARS OF EXPERIENCE Masters degree in a relevant discipline and at least 10 years of relevant experience (or a Bachelor's degree and 18 years of relevant experience)
