    Reports to: Global Director, People Partnering - Costa Coffee

    Location: Atlanta, GA

    The role is responsible for partnering the Costa Americas MD and Leadership Team (US & Mexico) to drive ABP/LRP growth through a commercially focused people plan. Working across both Costa and The Coca-Cola Company, the role focusses on delivering strategic business plans by identifying the right people strategies and interventions that deliver the capability we require to grow the business. Specific focus on areas such a Talent Management & Succession Planning, Engagement, Leadership Performance, Operating Model & Organizational design, and long-term strategy.

    This role directly partners the America's MD and sits on their leadership forum, whilst reporting into Costa's Global people function.

    The role will need to pull on multiple COE's and business stakeholders to ensure that the regional people plan is fit for purpose in driving the above key areas, maintaining a balance between global consistency and regional nuances, influencing stakeholders to deliver to their needs.

    The role holder will be a hands-on, practical, and commercially savvy people partner, able to navigate across the range of people related challenges to drive commercial and pragmatic people plan implementation across their region. They will thrive in a fast-moving, quickly changing atmosphere and the need to move quickly and boldly to reach an outcome. They're creative, and thing outside-of-the-box, who is willing to take risks to help us build and scale. They will need to be proficient in senior stakeholder management and be comfortable operating across both strategic and tactical agendas, as and when needed to drive the plan forward.

    Key Accountabilities:
    • Leverage a deep understanding of the regional business strategy to provide thought-leadership to MD and Leadership Teams in devising a people strategy that drives growth.
    • Consult, coach, and drive all levels of leadership to build and develop high performing, diverse and inclusive teams.
    • Provide data-driven recommendations to address gaps, opportunities and enhance the health, performance, and organizational effectiveness across all teams.
    • Be the champion and advocate of the Costa people experience - ensuring that people practices create positive engagement and performance and are aligned to our Global People Promise
    • Support a range of people challenges and issues- utilizing Costa/TCCC COE's as required to deliver for your people needs.
    • Support the build of context and confidence in the COE leads to enable them to go direct to the business to deliver a focused and prioritized service.
    • Input as required into COE projects and solutions representing the business view.
    • Engage with the COE experts and solutions for as required for the key strategic priorities.
    • Change leadership.
    • Drive key areas of the cyclical people cycle- Talent Management, Reward, Engagement
    Skills & Knowledge
    • Strong generalist HR experience - confidently able to own parts of a people plan which cuts across several COE's specialisms and multiple Matrices.
    • Solid knowledge of people trends and being able to interpret and bring this insight into Costa.
    • Commercial savvy and strong business acumen to connect people activity to driving the business commercial success.
    • Good knowledge of how to make things happen in a pragmatic and pacey way in a global matrixed business.
    • Understanding of people practices and process requirements and constraints relevant to Costa markets.
    • Self-starter and continuous learner, evidence of CPD for profession.
    • Able to operate at pace and be able to flex and pivot across a wide range of situations.
    • Confident in decision making and able to take everyday decisions on people matters without referral/ escalation.
    • Consulting and stakeholder management skills - able to diagnose, analyze and create clear action and make things happen.
    • Pragmatic driver of behavioral change at an individual and organizational wide level

    Qualifications & Experience
    • 5 or more years of experience working in Human Resources or related discipline.
    • Start-up/entrepreneurial business experience
    • Confidence in working in a global matrix business.
    • Worked in a change/transformation and growth context where agility is required.
    • Proven in leading behavioral and cultural enduring change in a pragmatic business environment.
    • Experience of working with COE's including ER, Reward, Talent, Acquisition, Comms, Engagement DE&I and OD
    • Implemented a range of changes around OD restructures, redundancies etc.
    • Ability to work across many aspects of the people cycle to create meaningful nudges of change.
    • Strong at collaboration and working in a matrix.
    • Proven expertise to influence and coach.
    • Working in a People function for a Franchise / Partnering business.

    Pay Range:
    $143,600 - $164,700

    Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
