Basic Position Description
General Warehouse and Production employees are responsible for processing production requests delivered by the Supervisor, warehouse cleaning and material handling. Directly supervised by the Shift Supervisor or Warehouse Manager, these positions are assigned various warehouse duties each day and shift to complete work as directed by the appropriate supervisor. All employees are expected to work safely and complete assigned work in a high-quality and productive manner.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Reporting to work prior of shift start and properly using the time clock in/out for all breaks.
• Completing all assigned work effectively and taking individual responsibility in keeping work area organized and clean.
• Wearing all required safety equipment and operating all work duties in a safe and attentive manner.
• Accurately process all paperwork, including but not limited to
  • Filling out production reports
  • Properly documenting quality checks
  • Packing and labeling boxes with the appropriate part number/description

Assignment, Review and Approval of Work:
General Warehouse and Production personnel report directly to a Shift Supervisor.

Education and Job Experience Requirements:
A high school education is desired to assume this position. Additionally, previous experience in a warehouse distribution environment is preferred. Shipping experience is a plus. Dependable work experience is a requirement.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor over extended period of time.
• Ability to use a tape measure, micrometers, calipers, and identify products by size and length
• Dependability, attentive work practices and desire to perform quality and efficient

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to speak, read and write English
• Must be proficient in basic math
• Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs. frequently
• Must be able to follow directions and work independently
• Requires high degree of attention, skill and dexterity in the control of pallet jack and stacking of product
• Must be able to meet specific shipping goals for speed and accuracy
