    Field Property and Casualty Insurance Adjuster

    Albuquerque, NM

    Job Summary

As field property and casualty insurance adjusters, responsibilities include conducting on-site inspections, preparing estimates, evaluating claims, negotiating settlements, and generating detailed reports.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Conduct thorough claim investigations, including property inspections, statements, diagrams, and photographs.
    • Analyze and estimate special damages such as property estimates, business interruption, and more.
    • Create clear and concise reports with findings and recommendations within specified deadlines.
    • Assess insurance coverage issues and offer recommendations.
    • Negotiate and settle claims.
    • Ensure prompt communication with clients and colleagues.
    • Build and maintain collaborative relationships throughout the claims process.
    • Participate in necessary marketing activities.
    • Be willing to work flexible hours as needed.
    • Perform additional job-related tasks as delegated by the Branch Manager.

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • College degree preferred
    • Active adjuster licensure for resident state.
    • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
    • Strong time management skills for remote work and claim assignments.
    • Proficiency in Xactimate, Xactanalysis, and ideally Symbility.
    • Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
    • Effective business writing skills.
    • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record.
    • Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
    • Comfort working in outdoor conditions and performing physical job-related tasks.

    Adjuster Allowances: Field adjusters eligible for mileage reimbursement, on-call bonus, and cell phone stipend.

    Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
