- Support active ERISA and benefits matters with minimal supervision in a fast-paced defense-oriented practice.
- Assist with retirement plans, executive compensation issues, and benefits-related transactional work.
- Draft clear, business-oriented written guidance for sophisticated corporate clients.
- Collaborate with attorneys across the firm's national defense platform to deliver integrated service.
- 4–7 years of ERISA/Employee Benefits experience, with demonstrated depth in health and welfare benefits.
- Additional exposure to retirement plans and executive compensation is a plus.
- The ability to step into ongoing matters quickly and manage work semi-independently.
- Strong communication skills, polished writing abilities, and the judgment needed to advise defense-side clients.
- A proactive, ownership-driven approach suited to a fast-moving national practice.

This AM100 defense firm offers competitive base salaries that vary by office. The expected ranges are: Albany, NY: $180,000–$205,000, Chicago, IL: $275,000–$335,000, Long Island, NY: $220,000–$250,000, Los Angeles, CA: $275,000–$335,000, Manchester, NH: $180,000–$205,000, New York, NY: $275,000–$335,000, Providence, RI: $180,000–$205,000, Rochester, NY: $180,000–$205,000, San Francisco, CA: $275,000–$335,000, Washington, DC: $275,000–$335,000.
Attorneys in this group also receive a full benefits package and are eligible for performance-based bonus compensation. These ranges reflect the firm's good-faith estimate of current base salaries.
