    As the Director of Accounting, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing financial operations and driving strategic financial decisions.

    You will lead a team responsible for completing month and quarter-end financial statements, managing job costing, cash flow analysis, and budget projections.

    Additionally, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership to analyze financial data and provide insights to inform strategic decisions.

    Focus:


    Leading a mix of strategic oversight and hands-on financial management, with a focus on month and quarter-end financial statements, job costing, cash flow analysis, and budget projections.

    Maximizing company profits and facilitating growth through effective financial planning and analysis.
    Advising senior leadership on strategic decisions based on comprehensive data analysis.
    Implementing robust fiscal and business procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency across the organization.
    Managing all accounting and finance transactions, including the preparation of annual operating budgets and periodic forecast updates.
    Tracking actual performance against forecasts and budgets on a monthly basis.
    Providing financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team.
    Overseeing cash disbursements and serving as the primary resource for accounting and operations personnel for ERP software support.
    Coordinating all aspects of the annual financial statement audit and supervising annual audits for worker's compensation and general liability.


    Skill Set:
    Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; CPA or MBA preferred.

    Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.2+ years of Construction accounting experience utilizing the percentage completion method.

    Strong knowledge of GAAP; familiarity with Oracle JD Edwards preferred.
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.#J-18808-Ljbffr
