    Group/Division

    With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively.

    Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA's metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers.

    Central Engineering is KLA's largest engineering organization comprised of 9 Centers-of-Excellence (CoE) in various disciplines applied across all product groups in the company.

    These CoE include Handling & Automation, Precision Motion Control, Sensors & Image Acquisition, Platform Design, and Packaging Engineering, among others.

    Talent includes over 500 engineers across global centers in Israel, China, India, and the US.

    Each CoE contributes not just talent and deliverables per discipline toward product programs, but also subject matter expertise, best practices, roadmaps, specialized facilities, apparatus, models, and analytics.

    In this role, you will support existing hardware and the architectural design of new hardware. We are

    creating


    an on-prem cloud to support developers in our engineering organization Identify and assess developer requirements and uncover solutions, recommend, plan, and drive these solutions to Production.

    Responsibilities:
    Design, develop, and maintain hypervisor solutions for virtualization platforms.

    Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand system requirements and ensure

    detailed

    integration.

    Implement and optimize virtualization technologies for performance,

    scalability,

    and reliability.

    Address and

    resolve

    issues related to hypervisors, virtual machines, and associated infrastructure.

    Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in virtualization technology.

    Work closely with hardware and software engineers to

    improve

    hypervisor features and capabilities.

    Perform regular system audits to ensure security and compliance with industry standards.

    Provide technical support and

    mentorship

    to other team members.

    Collaborate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.

    Documentation for system configurations, processes, and standard methodologies.


    Qualifications:
    Education background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or related experience.

    Experience in

    crafting

    and leading storage solutions for virtualized environments.

    In-depth knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM

    Proficient

    track record of storage protocols (iSCSI, NFS, FC) and technologies (SAN, NAS).

    Practical knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.

    Experience with backup and recovery solutions.

    Excellent problem-solving skills.

    Strong

    communication

    skills

    and the ability to convey

    sophisticated

    technical concepts to non-technical individuals.

    Ability to work multi-functionally in a

    fast-paced,

    multifaceted

    environment.

    Minimum Qualifications
    Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years, Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years or equivalent work experience
