    Purchasing Manager

    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team.

    The Purchasing Manager will play a critical role in managing the procurement process for raw materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of precious metals while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance with the delivery of the metals to our clients.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, supply chain management, and negotiation, with a deep understanding of the precious metals market.


    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to meet the company's short term and long term raw material needs.
    • Work with select suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost, and delivery performance.
    • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to optimize cost savings and mitigate risks.
    • Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain disruptions to anticipate potential impacts on procurement activities.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production, finance, and quality assurance teams, to ensure alignment of procurement objectives with overall business goals.
    • Manage inventory levels to minimize excess stock and optimize working capital while ensuring uninterrupted supply to meet production demands.
    • Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as needed to drive continuous improvement.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to procurement and supply chain management.
    • Utilize procurement software and tools to streamline processes, track purchasing metrics, and generate reports for management review.
    • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting the precious metals market to maintain a competitive advantage.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the precious metals industry.
    • Strong knowledge of precious metals markets, including pricing mechanisms, supply dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
    • Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships to achieve cost savings and improve operational efficiency.
    • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills with a focus on driving results and delivering value to the organization.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and cultures.
    • Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
