    Description

    Job Title: Physical Therapist

    Shift: First Shift - PRN

    Schedule: 1 weekend (Sat/Sun) required every 4 weeks

    Baptist Health Lexington provides top-notch rehabilitation services for inpatients and outpatients. Our skilled team of physical, occupational, and speech therapists offers personalized care to help patients recover from surgery, injury, or manage chronic conditions.

    We utilize the latest facilities and evidence-based treatments to focus on restoring function, boosting independence, and enhancing well-being. Our commitment to compassionate care and advanced techniques enables us to help patients reach their full potential and regain confidence in their daily lives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Evaluate and treat patients; develop a treatment plan; and set goals for patients. Patient and family education is included in the treatment plan and goals.
    • Complete documentation according to national and state regulations, as well as hospital and departmental policies.
    • Assist with the education of affiliating students, department staff, hospital staff, and the community at large.
    • Delegate to and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians.
    • Participate in departmental operational planning.
    • Meet the needs of patients with impaired mental abilities, vision, hearing, or mobility by intervening appropriately.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
    • Current License by the Kentucky State Board of Physical Therapy.
    • BLS certification within 90 days.
