What You Will Be Doing
Cascades the vision of Quest Food Management Services ensuring the Quest vision, values, and founding principles are effectively communicated, understood, and practiced.
Manage staff to include selection, work allocation, training, coaching and mentoring, problem resolution, performance evaluation, feedback, and corrective action.
Oversee that the chef /managers consistently maintain high food quality and service levels.
Lead by example and maintain a professional and reputable work environment by enforcing policy and best practices that bring out a positive employment brand.
Interact with clients daily and maintain excellent client relationships through open and honest dialogue.Stay abreast of the competition by analyzing quarterly market analysis and consistent research of menu trends.
Provide financial expertise in overseeing the management of Food, Labor, and Direct costs.
Educate clients with monthly meetings with transparent financials.
Identify and mentor next-level personnel to grow with the company and develop career paths, including training schedules.
Hold managers accountable for food, labor, and direct cost controls and control expenditures for the account.
Manage catering team to ensure quality in the final presentation of food.
Manage the account's marketing strategy programs to increase sales growth.
Manage accountability of staff using goal-setting and performance management processes.
Manage costs on all recipes.
Oversee and accountability of all purchases and inventory levels.
Oversee all menus.
Work in conjunction with the Chef/Manager, Food Service Director, and Food Service Manager to anticipate trends and roll out new concepts and ideas.
Maintain Quest's high standards by managing customer service and exceeding our clients' expectations through delicious food and gracious hospitality.Motivate management to consistently thrive to keep the account(s) fresh and exciting.
Maintain account in compliance with SOP standards and HACCP standards.
Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure safe food practices.
Follow all Quest policies and food safety guidelines.
Perform other duties as required.
Your Experience And Skills Include
Completion of Dietetic Internship, current Registered Dietitian, and Registered Dietician License in Indiana
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum five years of food service management
Food service contractor experience in corporate dining, preferred
Extensive experience in the food service industry including a vast knowledge of establishing client relations and maintaining long-term client relationships
Exemplary leadership skills
Expertise of the P&L impact and accounting practices
Experience with cost controls, sanitation, and safety is required
Strong communication and client management skills
Solid knowledge of financials
Proficient in MS Office
Responsible for meeting and maintaining state and local certification requirements (Food Service Manager)
