- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive data architecture roadmap, encompassing data lake, data warehouse, transactional systems, and data modeling standards.
- Oversee a team of Data Architects and Database Administrators (DBAs) to design, develop, and maintain data models that support business intelligence and analytics across the organization.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable data models.
- Champion data governance initiatives, establishing clear policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to ensure seamless integration between the data architecture and the data platform.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in data management and architecture.
- Foster a culture of data ownership and deep domain understanding within the team.
- Manage and develop the performance of a talented team of data professionals.
- 10+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring high-performing data teams.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and transactional systems.
- Experience with data modeling methodologies (e.g., Kimball methodology).
- Experience with SQL and data modeling tools.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
