    Position Summary

    Provide diagnostic ultrasound services using sonic energy to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

    Perform ultrasonic imaging and related procedures while exercising professional judgment, maintaining medical ethics, and ensuring appropriate patient care throughout all examinations.

    Scope of Practice

    Perform ultrasound imaging in one or more of the following are

    as:
    OB/GYN
    Abdomen
    Neurosonology
    Ophthalmology

    Demonstrate anatomical structures for interpretation and/or intervention by a licensed practitioner
    Apply appropriate patient care techniques and recognize patient conditions necessary for successful procedures
    Maintain professionalism and ethical standards in all patient interactions
    Licensure & Certification Requirements

    ARDMS certification

    (or equivalent approved certification)
    Oregon State License


    as:
    Ultrasonographer

    or
    Radiologic Technologist/Sonographer
