    Description
    Bibey Machine and Fabrication is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Welder.

    Bibey Machine and Fabrication is a Greensboro, NC based company with three locations in the Triad. Our vast array of services includes custom machine design, welding, gear cutting and metal fabrication performed on state-of-the-art equipment. Our experienced team also does production milling and turning as well as fixture and gauge design. Our capabilities include machining and fabrication with metal, plastic and phenolic materials.

    As a Welder, you will
    • Set up TIG, MIG, and Stick welding machines.
    • Perform welding tasks to specifications without supervision.
    • Read and interpret mechanical drawings or fabrication prints as needed.
    • Assemble items as directed.
    • Complete assigned work in a timely manner and achieve quality standards
    • Follow all safety rules regarding machine operation
    • Perform quality inspection of own work to ensure required dimensional tolerances and cosmetic requirements are met
    • Perform light level daily maintenance on assigned equipment
    The successful candidate will have
    • At least 2 years of experience in welding
    • The ability to read and interpret blueprints or mechanical drawings involving brake operations
    • The ability to communicate verbally and in writing using English
    • The ability to meet the physical demands of the position which include manual dexterity to be able to safely operate the machinery and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
    • The ability to pass our pre-employment criminal background screen
