    Description

    Join Our Team as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

    • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health conditions.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including medication management and psychotherapy.
    • Monitor and evaluate patients' progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
    • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives in psychiatric care.
    • Stay current with advancements in psychiatric medicine through continuing education.

    Requirements:

    • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatry/Mental Health.
    • Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in NJ.
    • Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a psychiatric nurse practitioner.
    • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a diverse team.
    • Commitment to patient-centered care and maintaining confidentiality.
