New Life Staffing is hiring for a Meltshop Supervisor in Lawson Heights, PA.

The candidate must have melting experience and be willing to work rotating shifts


RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR:
Provide clear guidance, supervision, and direction to production employees to support departmental operations.
Address performance issues promptly and effectively.
Actively uphold all company policies and standards, with a strong focus on safety plans and outcomes.
Plan and coordinate operations within the designated area of responsibility.
Foster a positive work environment by maintaining open communication with shop floor employees, promptly addressing their concerns and issues.
Ensure well-organized and productive work areas.
Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental and company goals and objectives.
Undertake additional duties and special projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR:

Preferred:
A two-year college degree; Required: High school diploma.

A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or operational environment, or equivalent expertise as determined by department management.

Proficient understanding of industrial and manufacturing principles, standards, methods, and practices.
Knowledge of structured problem-solving techniques.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
Capable of providing direction, objectively assessing performance, and training and developing team members.
Proficiency in problem-solving and project management.
Willingness to work in a production-focused environment.
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and different shifts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and adept at making sound decisions.
Adaptability to a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment.

Salary:
$90,000-100,000, depending on experience.
