    This Job:

    Title: Business Process Manager

    You'll Report to: Vice President, Innovation

    The Process Manager will be responsible for working with a team of business analysts, assigning projects, and actively participating in complex enterprise-level projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to achieve end-to-end results.

    As a Business Process Manager, you will also serve as the scrum master for innovation, business intelligence, and strategic partnerships departments. Candidates with insurance industry experience and familiarity with project management tools like Jira/Confluence are highly preferred. Additionally, Salesforce administration experience is advantageous. The successful candidate will thrive in ambiguous situations, possess a curious and inventive nature, and be adept at challenging and offering alternative solutions to business requirements.

    What Youll Do:
    • Lead support and participate in enterprise-level projects, leveraging your expertise to drive innovative end-to-end solutions.
    • Act as the scrum master for three departments: innovation, business intelligence, and strategic partnerships.
    • Identify and propose solutions to solve complex workforce problems and develop, prepare and present these findings through compelling presentations to stakeholders.
    • Lead large workstreams of the project with limited direction and coordinate and direct project resources to achieve objectives.
    • Utilize project management tools such as Jira/Confluence to facilitate project execution and documentation.
    • Administer Salesforce and leverage its capabilities to support business operations and initiatives.
    • Navigate ambiguous situations with confidence, applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Supports team in the execution of full end-to-end workforce planning engagements, including the facilitation of stakeholder meetings, data analysis, and the creation of compelling presentation to communicate key findings.
    • Mentor, develop and coach business analysts to support the operational objectives and strategy.
    • Influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
    • Consult with key talent and business stakeholders surrounding workforce challenges
    • Coordinate and direct all resources associated with special projects including business stakeholders, HR partners and business analysts supporting the project.
    What Youll Need to be a Top Candidate:

    Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or any other quantitative field preferred. MBA is highly desirable.

    Experience:

    • 3+ Years of Property Insurance industry experience required.
    • 5-7 Years of Project management experience is required.
    • PMP, Scrum Master Certification Preferred

    Skills & Knowledge:

    • Project Management Experience: Proven track record of successfully managing complex enterprise-level projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
    • Scrum Mastery: Experience serving as a scrum master in agile environments, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure team productivity and alignment with project goals.
    • Technical Proficiency: Experience with project management tools such as Jira/Confluence or similar systems, as well as proficiency in Salesforce administration, preferred.
    • Insurance Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with insurance industry processes, regulations, and best practices is highly preferred, enabling effective navigation of industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
    • Curiosity and Inventiveness: Innate curiosity and creativity, with a proactive approach to exploring new ideas, technologies, and methodologies to address business challenges and drive innovation.
    • Critical Thinking: Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze complex business problems, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop innovative solutions to drive big picture business success.
    • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, capable of navigating ambiguous situations, identifying root causes of issues, and proposing effective solutions.
    • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work products, with a focus on accuracy and precision.
    • Continuous Improvement: Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to the role.
    • Conflict Resolution: Strong conflict resolution skills, capable of navigating disagreements and fostering constructive dialogue to reach mutually beneficial resolutions.
    • Stakeholder Management: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders at various levels of the organization, effectively set expectations and ensure alignment with project objectives.
    • Influence and Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively influence cross-functional teams, stakeholders and third-party vendors with minimal oversight.
    • Adaptability: Comfortable working in dynamic and ambiguous environments, with the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and requirements. Can-do attitude is a must.
    • Strong quantitative, analytical, and written and oral communication skills.
    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
    • Strong time management skills.
    Your Environment:

    Normal business office environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for periods of time while constantly operating a computer and or other office productivity machinery such as a calculator or telephone. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery or communicate with coworkers. #LI-Onsite This position reports to our Tampa Office Monday-Friday.
