Job summary
This position involves general labor assisting with warehouse movements cleaning handling inbound freight supporting outbound activity performing unpacking of shipment deliveries documenting activities into computer system preparing shipping documents maintaining records incoming outgoing shipments operating lift trucks hand trucks conveying moving materials proper departments areas unpacks examines routes incoming shipments rejects damaged items records shortages corresponds with shipper rectify damages shortages performs all computer functions necessary track various aspects goods supports shipment received goods supplies used production storage goods destined sale customer base reports defective materials questionable conditions department supervisor maintains work area equipment clean orderly condition follows prescribed safety regulations reviews applies inventory activities stock movements reports any stock issues supports all inventory functions.
