Location: Marysville, OH
Contract Type: Travel
Duration: 26 weeks
Shift: 5x8 Days (Mon–Fri; no weekends or holidays; flexible start/end times)
Pay: $4,840/week
Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)
Job Description
ATC Healthcare is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Physician for a travel assignment providing on-site primary care services in a correctional setting. The Physician will deliver comprehensive medical care to an adult female population, managing acute and chronic conditions. This is a full-time weekday role with no on-call, weekend, or holiday requirements. The assignment may be extended and could lead to permanent placement by mutual agreement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary care services to adult patients in a secure setting
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Perform physical exams and preventive care visits
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans
- Manage ongoing chronic disease care
- Document all encounters and orders in the medical record
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary staff
Qualifications
- Active Ohio physician license required
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
- Primary care experience required
- BLS/CPR certification required
- DEA registration required
- Comprehensive CV with full work history required
- Ability to complete video interview and on-site meeting/tour
- Drug screen and TB test documentation required prior to start
