Description
Spherion Staffing is currently looking to add a Recruiter to its team. This is a full-time position with benefits upon eligibility. Experience at a staffing company is helpful, but not required.Shift:
Monday - Friday; 8a-5p
Salary:
$35k-$40k, DOE

Responsibilities:
Answer telephones, greeting candidates/applicants/employees and customers
Schedule interviews/appointments.
Navigate HR data base to answer questions, review information, record data, etc.
Participate in order qualification calls and job shadows with sales
Create post and market open orders
Partner with marketing to create targeted campaigns for open orders
Leverage all available resources to source qualified candidates for open opportunities
Execute community based recruiting (local networking, career fairs, posters, associations, etc...)
Proactively develop, manage and maintain core skill candidate pipeline as assigned by leadership
Pre-screen candidates
Interview candidates
Utilize VMS and other recruitment tools to manage candidate data and track progress
Generate leads and referrals
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
Match qualified candidates to open orders
Participate in on-call phone rotation
Facilitate employee onboarding
Facilitate employment verification, background checks, drug screens, and credit checks
Stay up-to-date with employment labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all recruitment activities
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience in social media management for recruitment purposes is a plus
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Recruiter or similar role
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
Knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively evaluate candidates based on their qualifications and fit for the organization
