    Leidos is looking for a Deployed Field Engineer to be part of a team responsible for the design, migration,
    implementation, enhancement, optimization and maintenance of LAN/WAN/Video/Voice/desktop
    infrastructure. Field Engineers are responsible to support client locations with their technical
    needs. The candidate will be responsible for upgrades and support unique problem resolution.
    CONUS travel is required for this position.

    Duties shall include, but not be limited to the following:

    • Travel to Sponsor required facilities to provide technical support as needed.
    • Evaluate data centers for the installation of equipment.
    • Install applicable equipment (with racks if needed).
    • Perform onsite testing of equipment and coordination with virtual engineers.
    • Install and connect applicable cables.
    • Coordinate pick-up and delivery of equipment if necessary, ensuring proper security
    practices and methods in accordance with where the equipment is picked up from and /or
    delivered to.

    • Be able to terminate to both copper and fiber circuits.
    • Team and customer service oriented – hands on network troubleshooting experience.
    Basic Qualifications

    • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
    • Prior experience with programs of similar size and complexity
    • Experience with the Sponsor and the Sponsor's mission
    • BS/BA degree with 8+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience in lieu of degree
    • Experience in IP

    Related Services:
    TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, PPP, and SIP.

    • Experience with DS3/1 end user equipment.
    • Working knowledge of Cisco and Juniper routers and switches.
    • Working knowledge for fiber, servers, routers, edge switches and desktop hardware.
    • Experience with UPS systems and AD/DC power systems, to include install/connection.
    • Working knowledge of CAT5, CAT6 cable, connectors, and demonstrated capability of fabrication of equipment to meet the setup needs of services being provided.
    • Remedy, VISIO, and MS Office.
    Preferred Qualifications

    • Cisco or Juniper Certs
    • Experience with commercial PBXs and associated telephones, VOIP/data telephony.
    • Experience working with SONET rings and associated hardware.

    Pay Range:
    Pay Range $84, $152,750.00
