    Home Health RN / Registered Nurse Opportunity

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • $80,000 - $85,000 per year (full-time) or PRN rates from $60 to $160 per visit

    Job Responsibilities:

    As a Home Health RN, you will provide home-based care to patients with various conditions, often after discharge from a hospital, rehab, or nursing facility. Your responsibilities include:

    • Examining patients, assessing their condition, and documenting progress
    • Working with physicians and overseeing LPNs, CNAs, and aides providing patient care
    • Educating patients on their plan of care, medication, therapy, diet, and exercise
    • Counseling family members on the patient's plan of care and home safety
    • Ensuring goals are met and coordinating discharge from services

    Requirements:

    • Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN license in Virginia
    • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in home healthcare
    • Active CPR certification
    • Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
    • Clinical proficiency in nursing specialty, strong communication skills, and compassion
    • Valid Driver's License and/or reliable transportation
