    Industry leading technology company near John Wayne Airport has an immediate need for a Senior Financial Analyst.

    $115-135K plus 15% bonus


    • We are seeking candidates local to the Southern California area or with immediate plans to relocate only
    Keys

    :

    5-7 years or more of corporate financial management experience in a public company

    open to industry but should be relatable

    tech, software, biotech, semiconductor, etc.
    Experience should include business decision analysis, forecasting, variance analysis, annual budgeting and/or strategic planning
    Must have strong communication skills as this position supports various business leaders across the company
    Must have advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; Oracle, Hyperion Planning and Smart View a plus, not required. Power BI, Power Pivot, etc. a plus.

    Does not need to come from a $billion dollar company but should come from a large or mid sized organization.

    Must have excellent communication, executive level presence and be promotable

    Responsibilities:

    Financial Analysis

    Dive deep into financial data, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to uncover trends and insights that will drive our success.

    Craft and present financial reports that tell a compelling story, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, along with variance analyses.

    Budgeting And Forecasting
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape our annual budgeting process.
    Develop and manage financial models that enable us to forecast precisely and perform scenario analysis.
    Keep a watchful eye on budget vs. actual performance, providing strategic recommendations for adjustments.

    Cost Analysis
    Be part of our drive to optimize manufacturing and operational expenses through detailed cost analysis.
    Evaluate product costs, pricing strategies, and profitability to ensure our competitive edge.

    Market Research
    Fuel our strategic planning with your research and analysis of industry and market trends.
    Be our compass in assessing the competitive landscape, offering insights that will shape our market positioning.

    Capital Investment Analysis
    Put your financial prowess to work by evaluating capital investment proposals and providing compelling justifications for capital expenditures.
    Collaborate in evaluating potential mergers and acquisitions, contributing to our continued growth.

    Financial Reporting And Compliance
    Be the guardian of financial regulations and reporting standards to ensure our financial integrity.
    Play a vital role in preparing financial documentation for audits and regulatory filings.

    Ad Hoc Analysis
    Dive into exciting ad hoc financial analysis projects and deliver insights that will shape our strategic direction.

    Qualifications:

    5+ years of applicable experience in Finance, Accounting or other related fields
    A bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or CFA is a plus.
    Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably in the tech industry
    Solid analytical and quantitative skills, complemented by your proficiency in financial modeling.
    Advanced command of Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
    Demonstrate your knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    Thrive in a cross-functional team environment, where your problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail shine.
